PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FILLING OUT FORM. Mississippi Jr High School Rodeo is open to all students, kindergarten thru 8th grade. All applications must include a completed State Membership Form and state fees of $50 . IT MUST BE NOTARIZED WITH BOTH PARENTS AND MEMBER SIGNING. State Forms and Fees can be mailed only at this time.
Please do not send pictures of forms or text pictures of the form.
If you are a returning member and provided me with a transcript of your grades at the finals in June, you won't need to send another one. If you are a new member or did not provide a year end transcript of your grades for last year you will need to contact your school and have them mail me one before your membership can be accepted. If you are homeschooled and did not provide a transcript last year, you must fill out the home school verification form on this page and send along with your membership form.
Students in 5,6,7 or 8 grades may be members of the National Jr High School Rodeo.National memberships must be done on line. Go to the NHSRA.COM , access the membership tab. If you were a National member last year go to the returning member. Enter your user name If you don't remember your user name, click on " forgot user name" and it will be emailed to the email address you provided . Or you can click on the forgot buttons and your user name and password will be emailed to the email address you provided on your membership application last year. If that doesn't work send me a text and I can provide it for you.
If this is your first year to be a National member, use the New Member portal to set up your membership.
This year you will send your National Membership fees ($95) to the National Office.
The final step is to to print out the Membership Application Form and Minor's Release Form. Both parents or legal guardians and member must sign in the appropriate places. If only one parent is signing, they must the reason on the signature line. For example, deceased, sole custody, divorced and full custody, etc. Once the forms are signed, upload them into the member's profile.
If you live in another state but are going to be a member of the Mississippi Jr High School Rodeo, a transfer form will be generated. You will need to e mail this to Jr High National Director Emily Ladner @esladner@gmail.com to be signed.. Once this form is signed by the Directors of the State of Residence and the National Director of the state transferred to, it will be emailed to the National Office to Melissa Wolf at, membership@nhsra.org Once it has been approved by the National they will upload it into your profile.
